Distance Covered:

Some 1, star and some 5 star, so 3 overall. Rog and Paul leaving for Levy as I arrived, Phil, Daz, Neil, Lee, Swainey and Strawberry out. Wind dropped so all but Daz left. Rigged 5.2m/85l but only just about planed on way in.
Bad shore dump at Dip so went to Golf, and Shore dump not quite so bad there and got washed back a few times, rig safe. Wind picked up a bit so a few more runs and walks of shame. Wind then got good and some waves; sea was way nicer than it looked.
Gybed on wave face that grew to logo high right on lip then rode down and made my day.
Was nearer river than usual and after gybe board tail was carried away by strong current and fell in. Board washed away in currents and I spent 300m swimming and drifting after it parallel to shore. Exhausting, and was thinking of dropping sea anchor/waist harness but board hit river and was able to catch it, Sailed in and thankfully Daz and mark D helped carry my gear back from river mouth. Was a bit scary getting so tired swimming. Sailed some more and was very good in wave/swells but wind dropped again and I was so tired. Didn't sail that much, but when wind up was great.
